The first hour of Hela is about learning scale, not about surviving anything. Nothing attacks you, so the only thing that can slow you down is not yet understanding what the Froggy backpack can reach, what the Shade copies can hold, and which plants are worth carrying home.

That is the shape of the beginner guide: a short, spoiler-light order of operations for the demo's side story, built around the two abilities the game gives you in the first ten minutes.

And what comes after

The other question this game reliably produces is what to play while waiting. The obvious comparisons are the co-op adventures of the last decade, and the least useful one is the most common: this is not a Hazelight game. Windup's core team came out of Coldwood, the studio behind Unravel, and that lineage shows in the tone far more than any comparison to It Takes Two does.
